Take the N3 highway from Johannesburg to Durban. As you cross the Vaal River at Villiers, turn off the N3 and follow the R26 to Frankfort. Continue with the R26 until you get to a T-Junction and TURN TO YOUR RIGHT towards Frankfort. Pass the town of Frankfort and cross a bridge over a large river. Veer towards the left still on the R 26 towards Tweeling. Continue straight on with this road, the R26, over a stop street and past Reitz. When you get to Bethlehem carry on through 2 sets of traffic lights, then a four way stop, and then through a third set of traffic lights, and past a large Engen Garage on your right. About 6 km?s from Bethlehem turn onto the R711/2 to Golden Gate & Clarens. You are about 25 km?s from Clarens. You will pass through the Noupoort or ?Nek? of Clarens.When you see Clarens on your right continue for few hundred metres till you see the Clarens golf and trout estate entrance on your left. |
