Location, location, location

There's plenty to keep you busy at your resort, but if Durban's attractions beckon all you need do is step out of your resort and walk. All of Optima's resorts are perfectly situated for exploring Durban beachfront by foot.

The promenade

The beachfront promenade was recently upgraded and now extends from uShaka in the south to Suncoast in the north. There's plenty of space to walk, run or ride a bike and lots of activity happening along the way. Strolling the promenade is a useful way to check out Durban's various beaches and decide which one to visit next.

Eating on the beachfront

Just across from the promenade is the beachfront road (Marine Parade) lined with hotels, high rise flats and restaurants. Take your pick of fine dining, healthy family fare or quick takeaways and walk off your lunch on the way "home".

If you love city lights, golden beaches and exciting vacations, contact Optima Holidays to book your holiday accommodation on Durban beachfront.
